How do I get to the studios?

The studios are walking distance from South Wimbledon tube station on the Northern Line, and the Morden Road Tram stop. The tram runs directly from Wimbledon Train Station, alternatively the 93 bus stops nearest us, at Lombard Estate. For more exact travel directions click here for the Transport for London journey planner or here for walking directions from Google Maps.

Can I park at the studios?

Yes, if your production has prearranged spaces with the studios you will be given permits for the duration of your shoot. Alternatively there is ample street parking available. If you are coming to the studios for an audience record, there is no parking provided by the studio.

How do I arrange a recce/enquire about the availability of the sets or stages?

All recces and bookings are handled by our dedicated Studio Manager, Rebecca Rawcliffe. You can reach her on 0203 468 9800, or alternatively email info@wimbledonstudios, or make use of the orange ‘request a callback’ button on each of the sets and stage pages.

Can I base my production team on site?

Absolutely, we have a host of production office space, and all the perks of being based in a studio environment for production teams of all sizes.

Is there catering on site?

We have a restaurant which serves breakfast and lunch daily, and productions are welcome to prearrange catering for cast and crew throughout their shoot. We also have a coffee shop which is open from 7am to 7pm and serves a selection of sandwiches and various treats.

Do the studios offer tours to members of the public?

We are hosting ‘The Bill Tours’ for a limited time only, to honour the fact that we have taken over the site from the illustrious series, and still use all of the sets from Sun Hill Police Station to the Canley Courtroom.  Tickets are available through our website, click here to go to the bookings page.

Are the studios equipped to host broadcast and live audience shows?

We have just launched our TV studio, complete with a gallery, lighting rig, draping and the option for audience seating. Click here to see it!

Do you supply camera equipment?

We have a company called Decode Hire based on site, who supply camera and lighting equipment, and specialise in 3D shooting. They’re a part of our vibrant Media Village, a collection of film related businesses based on site.
